No Wonder Postal Workers Go Crazy!

We are shopping for stamps. Our reply card - because we are pennywise - is a postcard.

Our postage options for this item are:

Tropical Fruit
or
Bighorn Sheep plus American Clock.

VS.
+

Why, Postmaster? Why? We would have settled for a plain American flag, or a white rectangle with a number on it.

Wow - this is a difficult choice. What are you going to do? The fruit is pretty but not appropriate the others are ugly.

Have you gone online to www.usps.com

They seem to have several options including some wedding hearts...

(There are places online where you can design them with an image of your choice but I assume that costs $$$$)

Oops...POSTCARD stamps...sorry. In that case, don't know...

Custom postage stamps turned out to be VERY expensive (more than double the face value), so that was out. Also: what would we have put on there? Seemed weird to use a standard US Flag stamp on the outer envelope, and something special on the reply card.

Thanks to Ebay, we have found our reply card stamps! Will report more later. They cost more than first-class stamps, but less than adding an envelope, and WAY less than going the custom route.

Nice blog! We're getting married in Durham on October 11, too! Nice to hear someone else's opinions on planning a wedding in Durham. I like your venue choice!

I'm using the fruit! Of course, I am sorta biased. ;)

I forgot about stamps until the last last minute and was stuck with kiwis/aka the ugly fruit for my postcards....I was one unhappy girl but then realized promptly 5 minutes later that I didn't care.
If I had had time I would have ordered from the site- custom was just waay too much.
